We did do some playing while we were in Utah...

We had a TON of fun on our trip to Utah a couple of weeks ago. We celebrated Mother's Day with the Evans family and had professional pictures taken. The next day Aaron and I left the kids with Mom and Dad Kennard so we could have a night away at the Homestead in Midway to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Thanks, Mom and Dad for taking such good care of Abe and Breanne! Throughout the week we enjoyed family get-togethers and frisbee golf with the Seethalers. Aaron did a ton of biking with his friends and brother-in-laws and finished a solid week of training. On Friday Ashley, Emily and I had a fun adventure sleeping in Ogden the night before the marathon and waking up at 4:15 a.m. to catch the shuttle bus to the starting line. Running the marathon was fun in a challenging sort of way. I dont see myself doing another one anytime soon, but definitely sometime in the future. I was VERY shocked to win. I didn't really think I was capable of winning until I passed the lead woman at about mile 18 and then I started to really want to win. I kept thinking about Dad and wanted to win one more race in his honor. It was a sweet experience, I was overcome with emotion at the finish line. Anyway, here are a few more pics of our trip!

Abe is becoming quite a good climber! He climbed this 10 foot wall multiple times with ease....and loved it! Frisbee Golf with the Seethalers; Breanne and Leiden in the double-wide.
I accidentaly threw my frisbee over a very tall fence and Abe saved me a good half mile walk by crawling under the fence to retrieve it. Go Abe! Breanne doing what she does best: Looking cute. Abe doing what he does best: Being studly. He is getting way fast on his bike these days!
Congratulations to Dave and Christina; they just got engaged last night! YEAH! These two love birds are seriously perfect for each other, so we are very happy for them. The will be getting married October 5, 2007. Woohoo!
This is the best picture we could get of the Evans grandkids all together. We had to give them cupcakes to get all of them to sit still for a minute. Well, except Lincoln, he was content just sleeping. :)

And finally, here is one more collage of pictures from the Ogden Marathon.
