Kennard Twins

So do you think these two look like brother and sister, or what?!

Breanne's first car ride

One advantage to homebirth is that you dont have to take the baby anywhere in the car anytime soon after birth. But, since some of my friends wanted to throw me a shower while Mom was still in town, we decided to get out of the house for once. We got the infant car seat out of storage and washed it on Saturday morning, 10 days after her birth. Here is a picture of the momentous occasion: Breanne's first car ride!

Name Decided: Breanne Kennard

After holding our daughter for a couple of days and reviewing our favorite girl names, we've decided to name her Breanne.

It's a GIRL!!!

Our yet to be named Baby Girl was born this morning at 4:20 am after about 5 hours of labor.

She weighs in at 8 pounds 7 ounces and is 20.5 inches tall.

We feel extremely blessed that everything went so perfectly, and we LOVED being able to have the birth in the comfort of our own home.

Disc Golf in Boulder

A couple of days ago we went to REI and purchased a double Chariot jogging stroller/bike trailer. We sold our single Chariot on craigslist.com (a GREAT resource for buying/selling goods if anyone is interested) and just couldn't live for more than a week without one, so we had to get the double. On our way home, we stopped at the disc golf course to break it in and get in a few good throws before the sun went down.

Family Comes to Denver

Last weekend we had all of Aaron's siblings come to our home for a few days. Elisse and Garry drove all the way from Dallas and Nate, Ashley, Dawn, and Emily drove from Salt Lake for the weekend. With the adults and kids together we slept a total of 18 people in our little 4-bedroom house! It was a snug fit, and we had SOO much fun! We had a combined birthday party for Aaron and Anna (Elisse's 6-year-old), a blessingway for me (for the upcoming birth), late-night gaming pretty much every night, and some geo-caching and sight-seeing in Denver. Here's a few pics of the action...
